Heady new ideas!
The hair stylist creates new shapes with RGS Europa.
Maestro has been created: professional
equipment for modern hair styling developed by RGS Europa making the
best use of stiff polyurethane. Complicated shapes, mechanical strength
and thermal resistance blended in a single compound: Baydur®.
Attractive design and first-rate performance for a project that
enhances the quality and versatility of stiff
structural polyurethane.
An idea like this can only bring huge advantages:
Mechanical strength - Components made of Baydur®110, while retaining thin
walls, respond better to mechanical stresses.
Thermal resistance - The parts subjected to
higher thermal stress are made with a particular type of Baydur®60, capable of easily
withstanding the temperatures above 100° C reached during use.
Design - The characteristic spider
shape combines attractiveness and perfect functionality. The heater
body, shrunk onto a motorised spindle, in fact turns in relation to the
main body with centesimal accuracy owing to a bushing inserted
especially in the mould and incorporated in the polyurethane foam.
Engineering - Threaded inserts in the mould,
threaded take-up inserts and co-moulded centesimal bushings have been
inserted directly in the single components calibrating them for the
foreseen use.
Reduced costs - Accurate technical analysis has
allowed RGS Europa to develop the 8 components of both versions (wall-mounted
and free standing) in just 3 aluminium multi-impression moulds, thereby optimising moulding
costs and times.
Good looking, sturdy and functional! Maestro is yet another
brilliant example of the many Baydur® solutions developed by RGS Europa. |
